Originally summoned for a vehicle accident with unknown injuries shortly after midnight, NWRPD quickly upgraded the incident to a Vehicle Accident with entrapment. Chief 703 (Freeman) arrived with a Envoy in the middle of the passing lane with severe damage and a Box Truck off the roadway with minor damage. Initial scene size up revealed two trauma patients with no entrapment. Chief 70 (Stanford) arrived and assisted EMS with the priority trauma patient that was already out of the vehicle. E702 (Deputy Kretzing) arrived and was assigned to patient care of the occupant still in the vehicle. E-7-4-1 (Halbleib) and Squad 70 (Robinson) arrived on scene and assisted crews already working. Fire Police from Station 70 and Traffic 74 closed the east bound lanes at Cloverleaf Road for the duration of the incident.
